EASTER Warming Instructions

Easter Meal Warming Instructions

Happy Easter from your friends at Small Batch Barbecue! We are so thrilled that you decided to entrust us with preparing all or part of your holiday meal!

We typically receive a number of questions regarding keeping your food warm and/or reheating later. While our food is hot and ready to eat when you pick it up from the restaurant, we understand your plans may not line up with pickup timing. With that in mind, here are our recommendations:

Keeping Items Warm
Place your hot items in an oven as low temperature as possible (200 degrees or below). Keep wrapped in foil or in covered foil trays. If you plan to keep warm for more than a couple hours, we'd recommend reheating instructions below to prevent things from drying out. Prime Rib should only be kept warm in an oven for about 30 minutes - any further time in an oven even at a very low temperature will continue to cook the Prime Rib and we recommend reheating as recommended below

Reheating
Place your hot items in an oven at 250 degrees. Keep wrapped in foil or in covered foil trays. Sliced Ham and Prime Rib should reheat to a safe temperature in about 20-25 minutes. If you have a probe thermometer, it is recommended to reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees for Ham. Prime Rib is cooked to 125 degrees and rested - if you intend to serve at Medium Rare, try not to reheat beyond 120 degrees.

Hot side dishes should reheat to a safe temperature in about 20-25 minutes. Reheating sides can be done with or without lids to your preference.
