Public health and safety is of the highest importance at Small Batch Barbecue. As a food service establishment, we consistently and thoroughly clean, sanitize, and disinfect all surfaces in the front and back of house throughout the day. Simply stated, we are vigilant about the cleanliness of our restaurant and employees.
All food handlers have current certificates and training for best practices. Our employees ensure that their work areas and hands are washed and clean at all times. Hand washing stations are readily available and consistently used by staff and signs are posted at these stations to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and proper hand washing techniques. Given the current state of COVID-19, all our employees wear gloves while slicing meats or handling food.
Any employee showing symptoms of illness will be immediately sent home from the workplace to prevent spread of the disease. Employees are screened before they arrive for work. All staff will wear masks at all times while on restaurant premises. Staff may occasionally remove their mask in order to have a drink or to taste food for quality, after which time, their mask will be worn covering their nose and mouth.
We are regularly receiving the latest communication from the state and federal government, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and The World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure all necessary measures are taking place to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and workplace safety.
